Grid Phase Failure

Fronius · Perfect Charging

What does 12 mean?

This fault indicates an issue with the electrical grid connection, specifically a detected phase failure. This can prevent the battery charger from operating correctly or initiating a charging process, especially in three-phase systems.

Common Causes

  • Loss of one or more phases in the multi-phase power supply to the charger.
  • Significant voltage imbalance or drop in one or more phases.
  • An issue with the electrical infrastructure supplying power to the charger.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify all incoming phases at the charger's input terminals using a multimeter to confirm voltage presence and balance.

  2. 2

Inspect the main circuit breaker and associated fuses for the charger's power supply for trips or blown conditions.
