301
Overcurrent (AC)
Fronius · Primo GEN24 Operating Instructions
What does 301 mean?
This code indicates an overcurrent condition on the AC side of the inverter. This typically causes a short-term interruption in energy feeding, after which the inverter will attempt to resume its startup routine.
Common Causes
- Excessive current drawn from or fed into the AC grid, possibly due to a grid fault or short circuit.
- Internal inverter fault causing high AC current output.
- Oversized PV array relative to the inverter's AC output capability during peak production.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
If the status code is displayed continuously, notify a Fronius-trained service engineer for further diagnosis.
- 2
Inspect AC wiring for shorts or damage.
- 3
Verify that the inverter's AC output current limits are appropriate for the connected grid and cabling.
