What does String Voltage High mean?

This alarm indicates that the DC SWITCH has automatically turned off because the voltage of one or more PV strings has exceeded the maximum allowable input voltage for the SUN2000 inverter. Sustained overvoltage can lead to critical component failure, permanent damage to the inverter, and safety hazards.

• PV string voltage exceeding the inverter's maximum input voltage due to incorrect string sizing (too many modules in series).
• Open-circuit voltage of PV modules increasing under low temperature conditions, surpassing the design limits.
• Incorrect PV module selection for the SUN2000 inverter model.

   Identify and rectify the cause of the high string voltage, such as checking PV module configurations.

   After rectification, wait for at least 3 minutes.

   Set the DC SWITCH handle to OFF to complete the reset procedure.

   Set the DC SWITCH handle to ON to restart the inverter.
