MAINS (No Power)
No Power to Phone Board
Kone · Electric Traction Elevators
What does MAINS (No Power) mean?
The phone board is completely without power, indicated by the MAINS LED being OFF (Green) and the system being non-operational. This signifies a complete power failure, meaning neither main power nor backup battery power is available. The system cannot function in this state.
Common Causes
- Both the main power supply is disconnected or off, and the backup battery is completely discharged or disconnected.
- A critical internal fault on the phone board is preventing it from powering up, even with valid power inputs.
- Multiple power supply issues, such as a tripped main breaker combined with a failed or deeply discharged battery.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify the main power supply cable is connected and providing the correct voltage at the phone board's input terminals.
- 2
Inspect the backup battery connections for proper installation and measure its voltage; recharge or replace if necessary.
- 3
Check all power-related fuses on the phone board and its power input circuitry for continuity, replacing any blown fuses.
