System Initialization Fault
Kone · Elevator Control
What does 01 mean?
The machine's system initialization has failed, preventing normal operation. This fault indicates a critical issue during startup and disables all motion functions.
Common Causes
- Failure during the machine's initial power-up sequence or self-test.
- Corrupted firmware or configuration data.
- Hardware malfunction affecting the main control unit.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify main supply voltage at the control unit input terminals against the specified nominal voltage range.
- 2
Inspect all internal control unit connections, including CPU, I/O modules, and safety circuit wiring, for proper seating and damage.
- 3
Check diagnostic LEDs on the main control board and any connected safety modules for specific error patterns or status indications.
- 4
Verify the status of critical safety chain inputs (e.g., door locks, emergency stops) to ensure they are in a closed and safe state, allowing system initialization.
- 5
Perform a controlled power cycle of the control system and carefully observe the boot sequence for any specific error messages on the display or changes in LED behavior.
