Failure in Up-leveling Switch

Kone · Frequency Inverter

What does 27 mean?

This error occurs when the up-leveling switch fails to operate after the lift has initiated deceleration for stopping, or if the switch's activation or deactivation falls outside the specified maximum effective or ineffective protection distances. These distances are calculated based on leveling vane length and floor distances.

Common Causes

  • Malfunction, damage, or misalignment of the up-leveling switch itself.
  • Incorrect positioning of the up-leveling switch relative to the leveling vane, leading to late or no activation.
  • Issues with the leveling vane's length or position, or incorrect parameters for max effective/ineffective distance calculations.
  • Wiring faults or poor connections in the up-leveling switch circuit.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Inspect the physical condition and mounting of the up-leveling switch, ensuring it is clean, undamaged, and correctly aligned with the leveling vane.

  2. 2

Verify the electrical connections and functionality of the up-leveling switch by manually activating it and observing its state.

  3. 3

Measure the length of the leveling vane and confirm its value against relevant system parameters.

  4. 4

Check the settings for the maximum number of floors and the greatest distance between floors, as these influence protection distance calculations.
