Alarm Space 16 Violation
Kuka · KK53Y Servo Motor
What does MR16 mean?
The MR16 signal indicates a violation of monitoring space 16. A '0' state on this signal means that monitoring space 16 is currently being infringed upon. If monitoring space 16 is intentionally inactive, the system considers it violated by default, and the associated safe output MR16 will be in the '0' state.
Repair Steps
- 1
Identify the configured boundaries for monitoring space 16 in the robot's programming environment (e.g., using KUKA WorkVisual).
- 2
Physically inspect the robot's current position and ensure no part of the manipulator, external axes, or tooling is entering or has entered the defined monitoring space 16.
- 3
If monitoring space 16 is intended to be inactive, verify this configuration in WorkVisual and acknowledge that the MR16 signal will default to a '0' (violated) state.
