Alarm Space 2 Violation
Kuka · KK53Y Servo Motor
What does MR2 mean?
The MR2 signal indicates a violation of monitoring space 2. A '0' state on this signal means that monitoring space 2 is currently being infringed upon. If monitoring space 2 is intentionally inactive, the system considers it violated by default, and the associated safe output MR2 will be in the '0' state.
Repair Steps
- 1
Identify the configured boundaries for monitoring space 2 in the robot's programming environment (e.g., using KUKA WorkVisual).
- 2
Physically inspect the robot's current position and ensure no part of the manipulator, external axes, or tooling is entering or has entered the defined monitoring space 2.
- 3
If monitoring space 2 is intended to be inactive, verify this configuration in WorkVisual and acknowledge that the MR2 signal will default to a '0' (violated) state.
