What does 077 mean?
A checksum error was detected in parameter set 3 during loading or transfer via the keypad. This indicates a fault in the parameter data or incompatibility with the loaded software version. The Lenze default settings are loaded automatically.
Common Causes
- Corrupted parameter data: The parameter data being loaded (e.g., from a keypad, memory module, or communication interface) for parameter set 3 is corrupted during transmission or storage.
- Incompatible firmware/software: The parameter set 3 saved in the keypad or external memory was created with a different firmware version of the device, leading to data structure mismatch.
- Keypad malfunction: The keypad itself has an internal fault, causing incorrect data to be written or read for parameter set 3, resulting in a checksum mismatch.
- Power interruption during write: Power supply fluctuation or interruption occurred precisely while parameter set 3 was being written to non-volatile memory.
- Internal memory corruption: A rare internal fault in the device's non-volatile memory (e.g., EEPROM or Flash) where parameter set 3 is stored.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Re-attempt to load parameter set 3, ensuring a stable power supply and observing for any communication errors during the process.
- 2
Try loading the factory default parameter set (e.g., using parameter P0-10 = 100) and then manually re-enter critical parameters for set 3 to confirm data storage integrity.
- 3
If loading from an external keypad or module, try using a different, known-good keypad/module to eliminate the possibility of a hardware fault.
- 4
If available, upgrade the device firmware to the latest compatible version (refer to manufacturer's documentation) and then try loading parameter set 3 again.
- 5
Backup existing parameters (if possible) and perform a full device reset (e.g., P0-10 = 110 for complete factory reset) before attempting to reload parameter set 3.
