Overvoltage Error
Omron · NJ/NX-series Machine Automation Controller
What does 08410000 hex mean?
The main circuit power supply voltage (P-N voltage) exceeded the operation guarantee range. This indicates an unsafe voltage level in the main power circuit, which can damage components.
Common Causes
- The P-N voltage exceeded the specified value
- The input voltage increased
- The Regeneration Resistor wiring is broken
- The External Regeneration Resistor is set or selected inappropriately
- Servo Drive failure
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Measure the incoming AC supply voltage at the main circuit power terminals of the Omron controller and compare it to the specified nominal voltage range.
- 2
Inspect all main circuit power wiring and connections for looseness, corrosion, or damage that could lead to voltage instability.
- 3
Verify the proper operation of upstream surge protection devices (SPDs) and line filters to mitigate potential transient overvoltage events.
- 4
Check the Omron controller's configured power supply monitoring parameters and input voltage thresholds to ensure they align with the actual installation and manufacturer specifications.
