A409.00 to A409.03

Expansion Rack Address Duplication

Omron · SYSMAC CJ2 CPU Unit

What does A409.00 to A409.03 mean?

This flag turns ON when an Expansion Rack's starting word address, set in CX-Programmer, either overlaps with another Rack's allocation or exceeds the maximum address CIO 0901. Bits 00 to 03 correspond to Racks 0 to 3. The CPU Unit operation will stop and the ERR/ALM indicator on the front of the CPU Unit will light.

Common Causes

  • Two different Expansion Racks are configured with overlapping starting word addresses in the I/O Table
  • An Expansion Rack's starting address is set higher than CIO 0901, which is outside the permissible range

  3. 3

Reconfigure the starting word addresses to ensure no overlap between Racks

  4. 4
