Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Inspect the coin inlet mechanism and sensor area for any visible foreign objects, debris, or physical obstructions.
- 2
Verify that any associated mechanical parts, such as coin rejection levers or gates, move freely and are not jammed.
- 3
Check the electrical cabling and connections of the coin inlet sensor to its control module for looseness, damage, or improper seating.
- 4
Consult the system's electrical schematics and documentation to identify the sensor type and location, and verify if it's configurable or can be disabled if it's an optional component.
- 5
Measure the output signal of the coin inlet sensor (if accessible and non-destructive) to confirm its state when clear versus blocked, comparing against expected values in the documentation.
