SF

PROFINET Group Error

Phoenix Contact · AXC F 1050 Controller

What does SF mean?

This indicator signifies that PROFINET diagnostics are present, meaning at least one PROFINET device within the network is reporting a system error. The specific error priority can be further investigated using variables like PNIO_DIAG_AVAILABLE, PNIO_MAINTENANCE_DEMANDED, and PNIO_MAINTENANCE_REQUIRED. This status is also reflected by the PNIO_SYSTEM_SF system variable being TRUE.

Common Causes

  • One or more configured PROFINET devices are indicating a system error (diagnostic alarm).
  • One or more configured PROFINET devices are indicating a maintenance alarm (e.g., maintenance demanded or maintenance required).
