Phoenix Contact AXC F 1050 Controller

9 fault codes documented

BF-C

PROFINET Controller Communication Error

This fault indicates a communication error in the PROFINET network when the AXC F 1050 operates as a PROFINET controller. It manifests as either no link status, incorrect transmission speed (not 100 Mbit), or improper duplex mode (not full duplex) on the Ethernet interfaces. Alternatively, with an active link, it signifies that at least one configured PROFINET device has no communication connection. This status is also reflected by the PNIO_SYSTEM_BF system variable being TRUE.

BF-D

PROFINET Device Communication Error

This fault indicates a communication error when the AXC F 1050 operates as a PROFINET device. It signifies either a complete absence of PROFINET communication due to no link status on the Ethernet interfaces, or a lack of communication connection to the PROFINET controller despite an active link.

D

Axioline F Local Bus Error

This indicator signifies a problem with the Axioline F local bus communication. It can occur during active I/O checking (flashing yellow/red), during startup (flashing red), or while the bus is in RUN status (solid red). Common causes include configuration mismatches, missing devices, or communication issues preventing devices from being reached.

E

Axioline F Peripheral Fault/Warning

This indicator signals either an I/O warning (yellow on) or a peripheral fault (red on) originating from an Axioline F device. A yellow indication points to a warning, while a red indication signifies a more serious peripheral fault within one of the Axioline F modules, potentially impacting device operation.

FAIL

Controller Runtime Failure

This fault indicates a critical issue within the controller's IEC 61131 runtime system. It can either mean a runtime error has occurred in the application program or, more severely, the controller's hardware watchdog has been triggered, signifying a system lock-up or critical malfunction.

PNIO_MAINTENANCE_DEMANDED

PROFINET Maintenance Demand Alarm

This alarm indicates a high-priority maintenance demand from at least one PROFINET device that currently has an active connection. It signifies that a device requires immediate attention to prevent future issues or ensure optimal operation. The specific device can be identified using the RALRM diagnostic block.

PNIO_MAINTENANCE_REQUIRED

PROFINET Maintenance Required Alarm

This alarm indicates a low-priority maintenance requirement from at least one PROFINET device with an active connection. It suggests that a device needs attention, but not with the immediate urgency of a 'maintenance demanded' alarm. The specific device can be identified using the RALRM diagnostic block.

SF

PROFINET Group Error

This indicator signifies that PROFINET diagnostics are present, meaning at least one PROFINET device within the network is reporting a system error. The specific error priority can be further investigated using variables like PNIO_DIAG_AVAILABLE, PNIO_MAINTENANCE_DEMANDED, and PNIO_MAINTENANCE_REQUIRED. This status is also reflected by the PNIO_SYSTEM_SF system variable being TRUE.

UL

24V Logic Power Supply Fault

This indicator, when off, shows that the 24V communications power feed-in for the logic section (ULogic) is either completely absent or its voltage level is too low. This critical condition prevents the Axioline F station from operating correctly.
