3 Output phases loss
Schindler · Easy Altivar ATV310 Drive
What does F015 mean?
This ATV310 fault is detected when all three phases on the drive's output to the motor are lost. Common causes include a disconnected motor, a motor with insufficient power relative to the drive, an open output contactor, or transient instability in the motor current during operation.
Common Causes
- Motor not connected to the drive output
- Motor power is too low, below 6% of the rated drive current
- Output contactor in the motor circuit is open
- Transient instability in the motor current preventing proper detection
- Output phase loss detection (parameter 605) is active (set to 01) and conditions for 3-phase loss are met
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check all power connections from the drive to the motor for tightness and proper termination.
- 2
If testing the drive without a motor or with a low-power motor, deactivate motor phase loss detection by setting parameter 605 to 00.
- 3
Check and optimize IR compensation (parameter 310), Rated motor voltage (parameters 304 and 305) for improved motor detection.
- 4
Perform Auto-tuning (parameter 318) to ensure the drive accurately characterizes the connected motor.
