Start condition error
SEW Eurodrive · Drives
What does 81 mean?
The motor could not be supplied with the correct amount of current during the pre-magnetizing time. This can indicate a mismatch between the motor's rated power and the inverter's nominal power, or a connection issue.
Common Causes
- Rated motor power is too small in relation to the nominal inverter power, leading to insufficient current supply during startup.
- Faulty or interrupted connection between the MOVIMOT® inverter and the motor.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check the electrical connection between the MOVIMOT® inverter and the motor for integrity.
- 2
Verify that the combination of motor rated power and nominal inverter power is appropriate for the application.
