F110
Ex-e protection
SEW Eurodrive · MOVITRAC 07B System
What does F110 mean?
The maximum allowed duration for operating the motor below 5 Hz in Ex-e protection mode has been exceeded. This fault initiates an emergency stop to comply with safety regulations for explosion-protected motors, which have thermal limitations at low speeds.
Common Causes
- Project planning or application design dictates extended motor operation below 5 Hz
- Operational conditions caused the motor to run at very low frequencies (below 5 Hz) for too long
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Review the application's project planning to ensure compliance with Ex-e motor operating limits below 5 Hz.
- 2
Modify the control logic or process to shorten the duration of motor operation below 5 Hz.
