DIFF
Differential Feedback Detected
Yaskawa · iQpump1000 AC Drive
What does DIFF mean?
This fault (or minor fault/alarm) occurs when the difference between the PID Feedback and the Differential Feedback (monitor H3-OO = 28) exceeds the level set in parameter P4-18 for the duration specified in P4-19. It indicates an inconsistency in the feedback signals used for PID control.
Common Causes
- Malfunctioning or incorrect feedback transducer(s)
- Parameter P4-18 (differential level) set too low for the application
- Parameter P4-19 (differential time) set too short for the application
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Replace the PID feedback transducer or transducers if suspected of malfunction.
- 2
Verify parameter P4-18 (Differential Level) setting to ensure it is appropriate for the system.
- 3
Verify parameter P4-19 (Differential Time) setting to ensure it is appropriate for the system.
- 4
Verify parameter P4-20 (Differential Hold) setting.
