What does UL3 mean?

The drive detected that the motor torque has fallen below a preset undertorque threshold. This can indicate a broken shaft, loss of load, or belt slippage, suggesting a mechanical failure.

   Inspect the mechanical load and power transmission components (e.g., belts, couplings, gears, shafts) for signs of damage, wear, or slippage.

   Verify the undertorque detection threshold parameter (e.g., L8-0x) in the Yaskawa P1000 drive is set appropriately for the application's operating conditions.

   Verify the motor's nameplate data (e.g., Pn-002, Pn-003, Pn-004, Pn-005) is accurately programmed into the Yaskawa P1000 drive.

   Inspect the motor and motor cables for any visible damage, loose connections, or signs of overheating.
