Impossible to address Hiperface memory
Bosch Rexroth · IndraDrive MPx02
What does F2105 mean?
The drive's control system failed to establish communication or access data within the Hiperface memory. This often indicates a corrupted memory module, a physical connection issue, or an internal hardware defect related to the memory interface. Such a fault can prevent the drive from booting, loading essential configuration data, or operating correctly.
Common Causes
- Corrupted Hiperface memory data
- Faulty Hiperface memory module hardware
- Loose or damaged connection to Hiperface memory
- Incorrect memory module installed
- Software or firmware error affecting memory access
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Inspect the Hiperface encoder cable for physical damage, proper seating, and secure connections at both the motor and the drive.
- 2
Verify Hiperface encoder connector pins on both the motor and the drive are clean, free from corrosion, and not bent or damaged.
- 3
Check drive parameters related to the Hiperface interface (e.g., motor type, encoder type, encoder ID) for correct configuration against the motor's technical data.
- 4
Measure the supply voltage output from the drive's Hiperface interface to the encoder to confirm it is within specified limits according to the drive manual.
