What does 71A5 mean?

The ACS880 drive detected that the conditions required for the mechanical brake to open cannot be fulfilled. This can be caused, for example, if the brake has been prevented from opening by parameter 44.11 Keep brake closed.

• Parameter 44.11 Keep brake closed is set to 'Always' or 'When stopped', preventing the brake from opening unintentionally.
• Incorrect configuration of other open conditions or interlocks in parameter group 44 Mechanical brake control.
• The brake acknowledgement signal (if used) does not match the expected brake status, indicating it's still closed or stuck.
