• The external signal configured in parameter 31.01 External event 1 source has changed state, indicating a fault condition from an external device (e.g., thermal overload relay, emergency stop, safety gate switch, auxiliary contact).
• Broken wire or loose connection in the external fault signal wiring to the drive's digital input.
• Malfunction or improper operation of the external device sending the fault signal.
• Incorrect configuration of the digital input (e.g., normally open vs. normally closed) for the external fault signal.
