SRVO-009

Pneumatic Pressure Alarm

Fanuc · R-30iB Mate + Mate Plus Robot

What does SRVO-009 mean?

An abnormal air pressure condition has been detected. This input signal is typically located on the end effector (EE) interface of the robot, indicating an issue with the pneumatic supply to or within the robot's tooling.

Common Causes

  • An alarm related to pneumatic pressure has been triggered.
  • This could mean that the compressed air supply pressure is too low, too high, or fluctuating outside the acceptable range for machine operation.
  • Low pressure can affect actuators and grippers, while high pressure can damage components.
  • Check the air compressor, pressure regulators, and airline for blockages or leaks.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the cause of the abnormal air pressure.

  2. 2

Check the EE connector for proper connection and damage.

  3. 3

Check the robot connection cable (RMP1, RP1) and the internal cable of the robot for a ground fault or a cable disconnection; if a fault is detected, replace the cable.

  4. 4

    Replace the 6-Axis servo amplifier.

  5. 5

Replace the internal cables of the robot.
