Fronius · Primo GEN24
The Fronius Primo GEN24 208-240 inverter has detected an excessive current flowing from the PV1 string on the DC side. This indicates a potential short circuit within the PV1 array or an incorrect string configuration.
Click steps to track your progress.
Disconnect the PV1 string using the DC disconnector and inspect all PV modules, wiring, and connectors for signs of damage or short circuits.
Measure the open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc) of the PV1 string and compare them against expected values based on module specifications.
Verify that the PV1 string configuration (number of modules in series and parallel) is within the Fronius Primo GEN24 208-240 inverter's maximum current limits.
Check for any external DC combiner box or array wiring that might be causing a short circuit condition.
If all external checks pass, the issue may be internal to the inverter; contact Fronius service.
