Fronius · Primo GEN24
The Fronius Primo GEN24 208-240 inverter has detected an excessively high voltage from the PV1 string on the DC side, exceeding its maximum input voltage rating. This can lead to inverter damage.
Click steps to track your progress.
Disconnect the PV1 string using the DC disconnector and measure the open-circuit voltage (Voc) of the PV1 string.
Compare the measured Voc with the maximum DC input voltage specification of the Fronius Primo GEN24 208-240 inverter.
Verify the number of PV modules in series for PV1; ensure it does not exceed the inverter's maximum voltage rating, considering temperature effects (lower temperatures lead to higher Voc).
Check for any miswiring or faulty components in the PV1 string that could cause abnormal voltage readings.
If the array configuration is correct and voltage is within limits, restart the inverter to clear the temporary fault. If it reoccurs, contact Fronius service.
