The signal level from Encoder 1 is excessively high, exceeding the permitted limit during monitoring. This often points to an incorrect gear ratio configured for the resolver or a wiring issue, potentially leading to inaccurate position readings.

Review the Encoder 1 scaling parameters (e.g., P6-03 Pulses per revolution) in the drive and compare with the encoder's datasheet.
Measure the peak voltage levels of Encoder 1's differential signals (e.g., A+ to A-, B+ to B-) at the drive's encoder input (e.g., X11) using an oscilloscope.
Check for any unintended shorts between signal lines and power or ground within the Encoder 1 cable or at the terminals.
Verify the correct termination resistance (e.g., P6-05) is applied in the drive's settings for the specific encoder type.
Ensure proper grounding of the encoder cable shield at the drive to prevent common-mode voltage buildup.
