A35413

TM150 Temperature Alarm Channel 7

Siemens · SINAMICS S120/S150 Reference List

What does A35413 mean?

This alarm is initiated when the actual temperature (r4105[7]) for channel 7 on Terminal Module 150 (TM150) exceeds its configured alarm threshold (p4102[14]). A timer (p4103[7]) is also started. The alarm will clear once the temperature falls below the threshold, factoring in the defined hysteresis (p4118[7]).

Common Causes

  • Monitored component on channel 7 experiencing higher thermal stress from increased duty cycle or sustained high load conditions.
  • Alarm parameter p4102[14] is set too low for the application's typical operational profile, leading to premature alarms.
  • Partial failure of the component's internal cooling system (e.g., blocked internal cooling channels).
  • Interference or noise on the temperature sensor signal line connected to TM150 channel 7, causing transient high readings.
  • Sensor connected to channel 7 is beginning to fail, showing an upward drift in temperature readings.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

    1. Observe the actual temperature r4105[7] and the timer status p4103[7] in the control system's diagnostic interface.

  2. 2

    2. Validate the alarm threshold p4102[14] against the component's thermal limits provided by the manufacturer.

  3. 3

    3. Conduct a visual inspection of the component connected to channel 7 for any signs of overheating like discoloration or burnt smell.

  4. 4

    4. Measure the resistance of the temperature sensor at the TM150 terminal block to ensure it matches the component's actual temperature.

  5. 5

    5. Check the component's load profile against its rated capacity to determine if it is being continuously overloaded.
