Siemens · SINAMICS S120/S150 Reference List
This fault is triggered when the actual temperature (r4105[0]) for channel 0 on the Terminal Module 120 (TM120) or Terminal Module 150 (TM150) exceeds its configured fault threshold (p4102[1]), or if an associated timer (p4103[0]) expires. If a BICO interconnection exists, this fault will cause the drive to shut down. The fault will persist until the temperature falls below the threshold (minus hysteresis) and is acknowledged.

Measure the actual temperature of the monitored component using an external thermal imaging camera or calibrated thermometer and compare it with r4105[0].
Inspect and thoroughly clean all cooling fins, fans, and ventilation openings on the TM120/TM150 module and the equipment connected to channel 0.
Verify the integrity and connections of the temperature sensor wiring for channel 0 from the sensor to the TM120/TM150 terminal block for looseness or corrosion.
Review the operational load on the equipment monitored by channel 0 to ensure it is not exceeding its design limits or duty cycle.
If the actual temperature is confirmed within safe limits but r4105[0] remains high, replace the temperature sensor associated with channel 0.
If thorough analysis confirms safe operating temperatures are consistently above the current fault setting, increase parameter p4102[1] (Fault threshold channel 0) to an appropriate value, ensuring adequate safety margin.
