10062

Amplifier HC Alarm Prevention Function Not Supported

Fanuc · Alpha i Series Servo Amplifier

What does 10062 mean?

This invalid parameter setting alarm indicates that the currently installed amplifier does not support the HC (High Current) alarm prevention function, despite the corresponding function bit being enabled. Continued use with the bit enabled may cause unexpected behavior or issues.

Common Causes

  • The amplifier's high-current (HC) alarm prevention feature is not available or enabled.
  • The selected amplifier model does not support the HC alarm prevention function.
  • Parameter P800.5 (HC Alarm Prevention Enable) is set incorrectly or the hardware is incompatible.
  • The amplifier firmware does not implement the required safety feature.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Set the function bit (parameter 1749#4 for Series 15 or 2209#4 for Series 16, etc.) to 0 if the current amplifier is to be used continuously.

  2. 2

If the HC alarm prevention function is a required operational feature, replace the amplifier with a model that explicitly supports this function.
