Battery Voltage
Fronius · Symo Advanced
What does 602 mean?
This status code indicates that the battery voltage is outside its permitted operating range for the Fronius Primo GEN24 208-240 inverter. This could be due to battery overvoltage, undervoltage, deep discharge, or a fault in the battery's charging circuit, which can impact battery health and system operation.
Common Causes
- The battery voltage is too high, exceeding the maximum allowable charge voltage.
- The battery voltage is too low, falling below the minimum discharge voltage, potentially due to deep discharge.
- A fault in the battery charging or discharging circuit.
- Malfunction within the battery management system (BMS) reporting incorrect voltage.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Measure the battery voltage directly at the battery terminals using a multimeter and compare it to the battery manufacturer's specifications.
- 2
Check the battery's state of charge (SoC) via the battery display or monitoring system.
- 3
Allow the battery to charge if it is deeply discharged, then re-check the voltage. If the problem persists, evaluate individual battery cells or modules.
- 4
De-energize the inverter and battery system, wait for 5 minutes, then re-energize. If the message persists, the battery system may require service.
