What does 73 mean?

The KONE LCE W/KDM elevator system has received a signal from the building's fire alarm system, initiating a fire recall protocol. The elevator will travel to a predetermined fire-safe floor and open its doors for passenger evacuation before being taken out of normal operation.

Common Causes

  • Activation of a smoke or heat detector in the elevator hoistway or machine room.
