Thermal overload of output stage or internal unit error
SEW Eurodrive · MOVIMOT MM..D With AC Motor DRS
What does 11 mean?
The output stage of the inverter or an internal component has exceeded its thermal limits. This can be caused by insufficient cooling, high ambient temperatures, or an excessive load on the drive.
Common Causes
- Accumulation of dirt or dust on the heat sink, reducing cooling efficiency
- Ambient temperature exceeding the unit's specified operating range
- Restricted airflow around the unit leading to heat build-up
- Excessive load on the drive causing the output stage to overheat
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Clean the heat sink to ensure proper heat dissipation
- 2
Lower the ambient temperature around the unit
- 3
Remove any obstructions preventing heat build-up
- 4
Reduce the load on the drive
- 5
Reset the error by switching off the DC 24 V supply voltage
- 6
Reset the error via the control system or dedicated reset function
