PID Feedback Loss
Yaskawa · P1000 AC Drive
What does FbH mean?
The drive has detected a loss or significant deviation in the feedback signal for its PID control loop. This prevents proper process control, as the drive cannot accurately assess the controlled variable. This is another PID feedback loss detection, distinct from FbL (0028H) but with the same name.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify proper power supply to the external feedback sensor/transducer (e.g., pressure, flow, level) as per sensor specifications.
- 2
Inspect feedback signal wiring from the sensor to the Yaskawa P1000 drive's analog input terminals for loose connections, damage, and proper shielding against electrical noise.
- 3
Measure the actual feedback signal (voltage or current) at the Yaskawa P1000 drive's designated analog input terminals and compare it to the expected range and the current process state.
- 4
Check drive parameters related to the PID feedback input (e.g., P1-03 Feedback Input Selection, P1-04/P1-05 Feedback Scaling, P1-06 Feedback Filter Time) to ensure they match the connected sensor type and operational range.
